Round 9 of the Stronger Communities Programme (SCP) is now open! The Stronger Communities Programme provides grants of between $2,500 and $20,000 to community organisations and local governments for infrastructure projects that deliver social benefits for local communities.
The input of the community is a key element of the SCP. Projects are selected by Members of Parliament (MPs) and their community consultation committees and are then submitted to the Government for assessment. Each electorate has total funding of up to $150,000 that can be allocated to successful applications. A maximum of 20 projects will be funded in each electorate.
Please note that the guidelines for this year’s round have changed from previous rounds. Please review the information and guidelines before submitting your Expression of Interest.
Proposed projects must link with an objective (or objectives) from section 2 of the grant guidelines and be one (or more) or the activities from section 5.1 of the guidelines.

Before submitting an EOI, we recommend you do the following:
Read the grant guidelines. This includes checking that you are an eligible entity.
Check that your proposed project is located in the current (2022) Fraser electorate. You can do this using www.electorate.aec.gov.au and looking at the “Electorate” (not the “Redistributed Electorate”) column. If two electorates are listed or if you need assistance, please contact us on 90701974
Identify how your proposed project links with an objective (or objectives) from section 2 of the grant guidelines. Identify the aligning activity (or activities) from section 5.1 of the guidelines.
