The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides individualised support for people with permanent and significant disabilities. The agency responsible for the NDIS is the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
  • Help you understand the NDIS process.
  • Raise queries or concerns directly with the NDIA.
  • Direct the NDIA to approve or speed up an application or plan.
  • Resolve a problem if you haven’t tried to resolve it through ordinary channels first (for example, calling the NDIA on 1800 800 110).

  • AED Legal Centre 
    The AED Legal Centre represents people seeking a review of decisions about their NDIS plans and provides information and legal representation to people with disability who experience discrimination in education and employment. www.aed.org.au/
  • Villamanta Disability Rights Legal Service
    Villamanta is a community legal centre that supports people with disability to protect their rights and ensure they do not face discrimination. www.villamanta.org.au/about_villamanta/
  • Mental Health Legal Centre
    The Mental Health Legal Centre provides free legal services to people in Victoria with lived experiences of mental illness or involvement with the mental health system. www.mhlc.org.au/
  • Disability Discrimination Legal Service
    The Disability Discrimination Legal Service specialises in disability discrimination legal matters, and sexual harassment of women with disabilities in the workplace. www.ddlsaustralia.org/
